Celebrating International Girls Day at Ninja Valley
Join Us on October 11th for an Inspiring Event

Sport. Family. Community. Three areas incredibly close to my heart.

Being part of our community has been a driving force behind Ninja Valley since day one. We’re incredibly proud to have partnered with worthy organisations like Variety and KidsCan, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to enjoy Ninja Valley.

We’ve also formed close partnerships with a range of sporting organisations, giving away vouchers and prizes for clubs to recognise players who are giving it their all.

Which brings us to International Girls Day. I’m a proud Girl Dad. Father to three daughters. Two work at Ninja Valley, while my youngest thinks it’s just the greatest place to play. So when my daughters take to the sports field, I want them to succeed, reach their greatest potential, make friends and have fun.

On October 11th, we’re thrilled to host the Waikato Women’s Rugby Team back to  our Ninja Arena for an evening filled with fun activities and inspiring conversations. This event is all about empowering young girls, their parents, and caregivers through sports, community, and shared experiences.

Why International Girls Day Matters

International Girls Day is a global celebration that highlights the importance of empowering girls to achieve their dreams and break down barriers. It’s a day dedicated to recognising the potential of every girl and encouraging them to pursue their passions, whether in sports, academics, or any other field.

At Ninja Valley, we believe in the power of sports to build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills in girls. That’s why we’re so excited to bring this event to our Hamilton community.

Meet the Waikato Women’s Rugby Team

As part of our International Girls Day celebration, we’re honoured to have the Waikato Women’s Rugby Team join us at Ninja Valley. These incredible athletes are champions on the field and also role models off it.

They’ll be running a series of activities in the Ninja Arena designed to engage and inspire young girls. Whether it’s learning new skills, participating in fun challenges, or simply spending time with these amazing women, this day promises to be unforgettable.

Q&A Session with the Team

In addition to the activities, there will be a Q&A session where young girls, their parents, and caregivers can ask the Waikato Women’s Rugby Team about their experiences, challenges, and triumphs. This is a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from top athletes about what it takes to succeed in sports and beyond but also about the importance of sport in all our lives, no matter what level we aspire to. The Q&A session is a chance to inspire the next generation of girls to dream big and work hard to achieve their goals.
