Frankie On Fire at Ninja Boogie Nights Disco
Our first ever Ninja Boogie Nights lifted off on 30th June with 80+ tweeny bopper ninjas enjoying an evening celebrating end of term with their mates at Ninja Valley Hamilton.
Laser lights, disco ball, fog machine and bangin’ tunes set the scene up front but there was plenty of time to also play and enjoy the trampolines, ninja courses, zipline, climbing towers, high ropes course and more between dance competitions.
Frankie Fog machine was working overtime, creating atmospheric effects on the dance floor but got ahead of himself by setting off the smoke detectors, triggering the fire alarm and sending out a regrettable invitation to the Fire Service. Frankie then abandoned duties and was hauled before HR on Monday morning for a full investigation. Truth is, we had tested the fog machine the day before, in the presence of our fire security partner and no red flags were raised but – with disco music coarsing through his veins – Frankie let rip and over-exerted himself.
Various competitions resulted in “free attack” of the ice cream freezer for the deserved
winners but fun was the winner.
As parents rolled in at 9pm, having enjoyed a peaceful evening at home or “date night” at a nearby establishment, the party people reluctantly drifted into the cool Friday night air, still pumped by the tunes and the excitement of the fire brigades visit.
The feedback has been wildly positive and so we vow to commence planning for round two of Ninja Boogie Nights in the coming months.
Massive thanks to all the ninjas who came and partied, to their parents and caregivers and
to the ninja crew that worked late to make it all happen.
Let’s twist again, like we did last summer!
